The dip for them also wasn't amazing. The soup and sushi, on the other hand, were really good. So overall I'd say it's a pretty good place, if you're up for some sushi, go for it.
The food was quite tasty, although it was difficult to find rolls that were both without gluten and without lactose. My favourite was the H5 roll. The service was friendly although they didnt speak english well. We also had trouble with the payment card machine (did not accept amex) and was repeatedly prompted by the server to pay with cash even though I said I did not have enough and had to pay with card. The place was clean although there is little privacy between the tables.
We went here for a quick lunch break, and they did a good job at making sushi. They sell vietnamese stuff, too, also, the staff is vietnamese. I had the osaka sushi set and it was a fair price, rather expensive. The ambience is nice, nothing special, they've got tht fancy kaiten sushi system, too... (Where the sushi is spinning around? Haha) the staff was super fast and nice, the food good, but i'm sorry, the lemonade/strawberry drink was TOO SWEET! Haha i asked them probably a hundred times to add more water and ice, then it was acceptable :D they were super kind about it. The green tea with ginger was very ginger-ish, tasted delicious. I will come back if i ever come to this small city again!
This place has some very tasty Vietnamese stir fries. I suggest you try them. What I don't suggest is the sushi. I wouldn't expect it to compare to sushi in Japan. However, compared to even sushi in America it is awful. About the quality of sushi in grocery stores. It's just not worth your time at all.
