Portofino's Italian - Greenville

Let me just begin by having low expectations (not against portofinos, only eating in gvl is not always the best), but wow that changed my mind quickly. as soon as they go in the hostess is sweet and attentive. we almost immediately set ourselves to what the manager seemed to be(love that if he were. our server, shane was also amazing. it was a packed house, but he ensured that he was often over and let our drinks come. I never waited for a refill, amazinggg. eating was soou tasty and these garlic rolls go try this place if you havent.

Absolutely ingenious seating staff. they were so nice during our waiting period. it was a very busy Saturday night! that was excellent! this evening we celebrated two birthdays. it was wonderful, all the way around!

Dinner wait for 3 people was about 45minutes on a Saturday night. The rolls were very soft and fresh and salad was good. We had the fried ravioli bites for appetizer and they were delicious! Dinner entrees were pretty good but not anything outstanding. The deserts were amazing; we had the cannoli and Milky Way pie.

Wonderful place to eat Italian and I really enjoyed it. I had lasagna and it was good. My birthday was today and it was great to have a good meal. My son was treating me for my birthday. Judy was our waitress who was extremely attentive and we were very pleased with her impeccable service. She was very caring and kind. She is a jewel of a person and A#1 waitress. I'm glad we got her to accompany great food

The best part of this meal was the rolls. The calamari was over cooked. Four of us ate here for dinner and it was entirely to much cheese in every dish, it overpowered literally every other flavor.
