We were seated immediately and basically had our choice of where to sit? the restaurant was very quiet on this weekday later in the evening. We put our orders in and received our food quite quickly. Everything was just as ordered and was great. Portions are generous and the food is authentic Mexican. Prices are very reasonable and service is fantastic.
Service exceptional slow and there were only 3 tables. Server did not offer refills, I had to ask for everything. No smile whatsoever. No pineapple in my Hawaiian street tacos and the mango patron margarita was made with well tequila, but I was charged $16. Worst restaurant I?ve been to in awhile.
Food was delicious, well cook, no greasy and really flavorful. Service was fast. We just went through to Des Moines on Labor Day and find this place and almost everything was good except for the chips, not bad but too thick for me.
Green enchiladas had seasoned chicken in them that did not go well with the green sauce. The 2 flavors that don't go well together. They also used flower tortillas to make them. The lemonade was not good quality. The rice was ok and the service was good. I would recommend getting something else. Maybe the fajitas with the quesadilla.
Totally blah meal unfortunately. Staff was pleasant and booth was clean, but no flavor in anything except guacamole! House margaritas have so little booze in them that I would say that is where they are making the money to stay in business.
