Being new expats to Hamburg, we were looking forward to getting some good Mexican but not overly confident.Wow! What a surprise and a good one at that. The place is very interesting when it comes to décor, some bright colors and some very interesting artwork but it works. Good indoor and even better/bigger outside sitting area. The nachos with pulled beef and chicken had amazing flavor. We had to ask the owner about how he prepares his beef and you can tell there is quite the effort put into the preparation of this dish. Both of our entrees were very good, my wife had her staple which is chicken enchilada and I tried the chicken burrito. It's stuff to the brim with fillings and again a very good flavor profile. It is not served 'wet' like we get burritos in Canada and in some places in the US, meaning no red or salsa verde sauce over top with cheese. It's a burrito with some different sauces drizzled over top. The pulled beef filling is extremely moist so you don't miss the sauce. With the chicken, it would be nice for a change up to have some salsa verde but the way they do it, is still quite good.Service was good, and while we arrived a bit early, around 1830 or so, by the time we were done around 2000, it was getting quite busy and filling up.If you're going at a busy time, on a Friday/Saturday, make reservations!Side note, they also have some Jamaican chicken dishes on the menu but we have not tried those as of yet.
There is something very special about this restaurant, when I first saw it open I was curious to see the menu, I noticed it had not only Mexican dishes but Caribbean dishes too and that draw my curiosity to know more about it. My first visit was for dinner and it was amazing, we enjoyed very much the taste of the food, starting from the Margaritas, they do know how to make them good here, we also tried some chips with dips and the dips were just fantastic, lots of flavors to enjoy, I went safe with my meal choice, I ordered a chicken quesadilla and I was extremely happy with it, I knew I will return to this place soon. I have been there a few time already, for lunch and dinner and each time I try to order something different, and each time is delicious and fantastic. Not to mention the people that work there have a great attitude and treat their guests as friends and that make the whole concept of a Latin American restaurant, a great culinary and cultural experience.
Have been there twice in 3 days. Very tasty, quite authentic, very friendly. I tried the mixed tacos, delicious. Recommend the mole sauce.
I have been on the hunt for authentic Mexican food since I arrived in Hamburg 2.5 years ago. A friend recommended this place and asked me to try it to let her know if the food is authentic. I was overjoyed to taste Molé done right! Guacamole amazing! Everything about the meal was fresh and delicious. I will definitely be a regular at this place. Can't wait for the summer when the patio is open!
One of the coziest restaurants I've ever been. You can sit outside in a great garden area but also inside in a sweet and cozy modern Mexican style room. There is also a nice bar in it. They have really really nice staff!! Specially the owner of this restaurant is very friendly and open for a snap chat! Last but not least I want to mention the authentic Mexican food. Fresh, handmade and convincing. Very good value for Money! !
