Excellent eating. elk burger was delicious and came with delicious beside salad. muscheln in coconut curry tasted great, but could use a brot side for eating some of the curry bruschetta was delicious with goat cheese. good scallops, but only as appetizer entree tasty nachos. my 12-year-old could finish the plate.

The food and the service were excellent, the ambiente was okay.

The food looked beautiful, but was somewhat disappointing when it hit the table. For example, the fries were not hot at all and they were a bit soggy. The mussels were okay, but nothing special. The elk burger (which had great reviews online previously) was also not particularly special in any way and was somewhat smaller than expected. The side salad was great! The service was friendly despite the fact that they were understaffed. I'm wondering if they were understaffed in the kitchen as well? This restaurant has mostly high top tables, so be aware of this when you make a reservation.

We went out for a meal to celebrate the start of the Holidays season and then onto the Aquarius theatre for a show. Sadly the service was slow for our main course as they had a large party in too. The food was good and reasonably priced and the cocktails we had were good.

This place is a gem. We had a delicious dinner with drinks and dessert and came away delighted with our meals and happy with the price. This is fine dining with a relaxed atmosphere. We had the scallops (6 large) which were perfectly cooked, elk burger, lamb burger, and the steak frites. All were delicious with unexpected flavour touches that made them special. Generous portions too. The service was wonderful despite some staffing issues (everywhere these days) and we felt very well taken care of. Don't be put off by the somewhat bizarre decor, this is a good couples night out.
