I often gedimt here and I'm one of my favorite restaurants. Although it is always excellent, this past visit was the absolute best from beginning to end. Excellent!
We loved the beautiful Forrest setting and menu. A real treat the day after Valentine's while on vacation! Pork tenderloin was excellent. Creative menu
The restaurant is expensive but worth it. Perhaps one of the most relaxing restaurants you will ever go to. The food is excellent. What perhaps is most amazing about the place is that the portions are small and you walk out stuffed.
We arrived early for our special occasion dinner and sat at the bar. We ordered a bottle of wine and waited for our seats. We asked for a window table and were set on request. The view was from a forest with a lake in the background. Chipmunks played outside the window for about fifteen minutes, then we saw two deer through the trees. One of the deer came directly on the paved terrace and feeds on bushes and other food from our view below. The service was good with two participants, but they did not appear in sine and left my waterglass empty for some time. The food was good, but not excellent. I ordered a soft bowl of crab appetizer that was very cheesy. I just have a few bites. My wife ordered asparagus cream soup that she only took two spoons and said it tastes like fish stock. For Entrees, she ordered the calf she enjoyed, and I ordered a tender fillet, but I prefer my steaks grilled. The meal consisted of five courses with a double spoon of a delicious cream pudding, a small delicious salad, deserts that were extravagant but delicious. The wine was an excellent NAPA Valley Cabernet and its wine list was exceptional. The view made the experience very pleasant. For the area it was probably the most romantic restaurant available and while it was good, we had better general meals and service in other places. With the top we spent over $300 for the evening, which is quite expensive for a less than the top of the line dinner.
What a nice hotel, the view from our table was peaceful. The waiting staff was great like the food. Can't wait to come back.
