Terrible customer service and quality food. I gave them a few attempts as they are in a favorable position for me, but my experience was even worse second times round. I bought a tasteless burger. I would have bought burger from mcdonald’s at the same price that I actually enjoyed. also the man who served me seemed a little hostile, as if he didn’t want me to buy from him, or because I didn’t spend enough money there? Anyway, he might have had a bad day. what a disappointment as I would have been a repeated customer instead of writing this review.
The first place on the left side in the grotty entrance space for central. the coffee was in order, at least for the price, quite smooth and tasteful. there was a set of prepared eating that looked uninspired, but ok, but the prices seemed a little higher than cj’s on the square, and cj’s is actually quite good, so I would rather go there.
Was surprised at how Eddy Avenue and the Central precinct has changed - so many new food outlets and this is an interesting alternative.
We stumbled across Eddy Avenue after a day long trip to the Blue Mountains. We took a boat to Circular Quay and train to Central Station where our hotel was nearby. Of course we were tired, famished and in no mood to cook at our apartment. Saw kebabs on the burner and I went it to check. Yes, it's halal. So we ordered 2 doner kebabs with tabouli and cheese and fish and chips plus 1 cappucino and a hot chocolate. All costing AUD36 which is reasonable for Sydney standards.I particular liked the doners which have distinct yumminess when combined with tabouli and cheese. The fish and chips were so so and I didnt expect much either.Anyway it is great to know there is a halal shop in the area. In fact on the 1st night in Sydney I walked more than 1km looking for halal kebabs not knowing there is a nearer option.
Visited while travelingThe waitstaff was very friendly, took excellent care of my kids, and the food was great.
