The staff greeted us promptly upon entering and wasn’t at all pushy while we took our time looking over our choices. I opted for the chicken tender box, which came with fries, coleslaw, and a biscuit, and it was absolutely delicious! My mom tried their new chicken sandwich and raved about how good it was. Personally, I prefer their new fries over the potato wedges they used to serve. I also really enjoyed their honey mustard sauce, and that's saying something since I can be quite particular about it. Overall, the food and service were excellent!
When I received my drink, I had ordered a Dr. Pepper with no ice, but it came with ice. I politely requested a new drink without ice, only to be given one that was filled with even more ice than the first, leaving barely any room for the soda, which was also watered down. Upon checking the food, I found that the gravy for my mashed potatoes had spilled all over the bag with the pot pie, and the cookie that was supposed to come with the pot pie was missing. I decided to call the restaurant to discuss the issues I faced, but MANAGER JOSE GUTIERREZ insisted that I must have visited the wrong location, claiming they hadn't received any orders with a drink in a while, despite the fact that I had just picked up my food 15 minutes earlier. I approached him kindly and did not expect to be told I was lying. I truly hope this establishment can improve its customer service because the experience my family and I had today was unacceptable. JOSE GUTIERREZ, as a MANAGER, needs to undergo proper retraining to learn that it doesn't require much effort to show kindness to others.
I was extremely disappointed! I went in to buy wings, but when I got home, they were drenched in grease and had burnt bits. Presentation matters!
