Contribuer aux commentairesWe stopped at this charming cafe for lunch during our day-long drive and were pleasantly surprised by our experience.
During our drive back to New York, we made a pit stop at this restaurant. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and accommodated our picky kids by adjusting their menu. The quiche was delicious and we were delighted to find that we could also enjoy a good cup of coffee, unlike the typical road-side options.
Good Service, mostly french spoken, food could be more interesting...same stuff every time gets old.
Looking for something fun and relaxing to do on a Saturday or Sunday? Take a trip down to Hemmingford and be sure to stop into Le Cafe in the centre of the village. The food is really like home cooking and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. It is like taking a step back in time when the pace was way more chill. The area is beautiful and sadly remains a well kept secret. Be sure to say hi to Yves and Lise who own and run the cafe.
We were strolling through the region when we stubbled upon this cosy looking cafe. We decided to go in and were welcomed immediatly by the friendly couple that own the place. We were served good coffee and fresh food, rapidly. The service was homly and good. Sadly, it was a gloomy day so the terasse was closed but the overall experience was. We would definitely go back if in the area. French and English speaking staff.
