It was a lovely time , lovely food and great service
This is my third visit to crazy bear and I was really disappointed and dissatisfied with the lack social distance between tables and patronage. My husband and I were seated beside a table of four with barely a metre between us. Half way through our meal another couple was seated beside my husband approximately 50cm away when the 2 tables behind us were empty. Overall poor measures in place for social distancing.
Overall food was nice and it was a pleasant experience. Food was of good quality and very tasty but not worth over £150 (which the bill came to for 2 people and we only ordered 1 drink each) Service was mixed, was a bit hard communicating with the initial waitress to answer questions on the menu. Food came promptly and accurately Another waitress had large tattoos on display which was off putting. In a fine dining restaurant where you are paying so much I expect a higher standard of professionalism (what people have under their clothing is completely up to them)
This was a fantastic experience for us from start to finish. We were given a very warm welcome and the food was beautifully presented, arrived at a perfect pace and everything we ordered was delicious. They were even happy to package up our leftovers for us to take home. Generous portions. The only thing I wasn't keen on was the soft tofu in one of the starter dishes (we had the 12 plate vegetarian option) but my husband and daughter liked it. We were extremely well looked after, thank you Crazy Bear.
