The food is incredibly fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced, making it worth supporting. Save yourself the train fare to London and treat yourself to a meal here instead.
This restaurant is fantastic for enjoying traditional Belgian cuisine. We tried the carbonade Flemish style, which is a wonderfully tender stew with a thick, savory gravy sauce. The portion sizes are generous, but you may want to consider ordering side dishes like vegetables. The staff is extremely hospitable. Due to its popularity, it's advisable to make a reservation in advance.
The restaurant offers a beautiful view on sunny days and is located at Grand Place. I ordered the Carbonnades beef stew with beer, and it was delicious served with bread and potatoes.
Lovely dinner. Food good (generous portions), service excellent, good ambience. Very good value think locals are missing a trick, should have been busier.
Ordered medium steak it was so tough I couldn’t even cut it or chew it along with other members of my group. I later ordered a burger which I didn’t enjoy either. The only thing which saves this place is the hosts.
