The Lost Cajun - Humble

Eating was pretty good. because it was my first time, I ordered several things to try. I ordered a few appetizers together with 2 main courses. the food tasted good, and the chefs were not over the season the objects. everything seemed really fresh. I wanted more, but here's my visit to the south. the restaurant had only 4 tables at the time and was not busy. the waiting staff was not attentive. I sat almost 15 minutes with empty plates. I had put this in a bad place as a sign on the plate and nothing yet. I wanted to dessert, but instead I asked for the check. I am proud to call myself food and have spent a lot of money to try different experiences. I suggest that the administration keeps register cards on the floor staff to create a more consistent experience for the guest. Maybe that was one for this place, but you missed me too badly on this one.

I ordered the seafood gumbo and it was barely warm and there were maybe 8 what I call bait (tiny) shrimp. Not enough seafood for it to be called a seafood gumbo in my opinion. Won’t be ordering that again. A big disappointment. But on a good note, the staff was friendly and it didn’t take long to get our food. Also, have had their fried shrimp and it was very good.

Absolutely love their food. Real Cajun food. Especially when I miss my Cajun food but I can always come here to get my taste of it

I only came due to the reviews as I am big on reviews before trying out a new place. I was disappointed! The food had no seasoning…. Not even what was supposed to be Cajun fries. I ordered the fish and shrimp plate. I was confused by the reviews and what I actually received! Although I was dissatisfied with the food the customer service was good.
