She greeted us with a warm smile and expertly guided us through the menu. Her recommendations, like the lemon herb chicken and garlic butter shrimp, were absolutely delicious. Kim's attentive service made our visit exceptional. She was always on hand to ensure our meal was perfect, making the cozy and elegant setting even more enjoyable. In all, Main Street Restaurant was a fabulous start to our trip, combining great food with stellar service. Thanks to Kim, we're already planning our next visit!
Returning from Devils Thumb Ranch, heading back to Boulder, my family and I, starved from the traveling, pulled over into what seemed like a quaint little town. Little did we know that it housed that single greatest breakfast, brunch, and lunch restaurant in the history of Colorado. The variety of the food was jaw dropping. It was a true spectacle to flip through the pages of the menu, discovering new genres of food that they served. My only complaint was the confusing formatting of the menu, as they wrote all of their meal items packed together to the point where it was difficult to find where one item ends and another begins. The food itself was nothing less than 5 star cuisine, cooked to perfection and served quickly. Talking about the quick service, the waitresses and waiters had their organized Method of service down pat, helping them meander the tight areas in the restaurant. I would die for another chance to visit this exceptional restaurant. Definitely recommend!
Drop your money and GTFO seems to be the vibe. Sad service expensive sammich. Small portion. Do better, it wouldn't be hard .
This place is a must if you're an Idaho Springs we actually came here twice for breakfast. Their pancakes were some of the best I ever had. We had them infused with blueberries. The staff was friendly and attentive as well. Highly recommend going to this place.
I stopped in Saturday morning, while out for a Saturday morning motorcycle ride, guided by other Yelp reviews suggesting a visit. Overall, it's a pleasant breakfast joint with indoor and outdoor seating in which they took over the street like the other local establishments. Strangely enough it's not on Main Street. It's on Miner Street. Nonetheless, it was a busy Saturday morning. One of the advantages I have in riding solo is I can usually get a spot right away. And today was no different. They seated me quickly and after a few minutes the waiter came over and took my order. In fact, I asked him his opinion whether I should get the huevos rancheros or the breakfast burritos smothered. He informed me that the huevos are served on a corn tortilla and the breakfast burrito was a flower tortilla, which I prefer. As for the burrito, it was okay. Certainly it had some nice chunky bacon inside of it, but, and it's a personal preference, the cheese was not melted on top of it rather it was sprinkled on it, and the green chili wasn't the greatest. As for my beverage selection, I had iced tea, but it was pretty weak. The service was good and attentive. I can't say I'd be back,..... but it's certainly a good stop for those headed to the mountains looking for a good breakfast joint.
