La Mona Cafeteria - Iquitos

Beautiful cafeteria to relax and get away from the noise of the city. They play nice and cool music. Seats are very comfortable and padded. The waiters were very friendly. The food is a bit expensive for size compared to other Peruvian places, but still worth every penny. The Wifi is pretty bad and not really useful for work. quiet I spent a few hours there just reading and relaxing. Had the Emparedado Primavera Sandwich and it tasted incredible. The chicken blended surprisingly with the sweet peaches, avocado and nuts. You were not enough to fill mr for lunch, but definitely amazing like a little afternoon snack and it leaves some space for a dessert. Tried her brownie and it was good, nothing special, a bit too sweet, but still pleasant. The cappuccino is also very tasty, a bit watery, but much better than most coffees in Iquitos. Some aspects that were annoying or can be improved: Since it is open to the outside, which gives a nice mood with the plants and partly open roof, it can become a bit hot. I'd rather go here if it's not too sunny or hot. But they have some ceiling fans that turn on for you. It is also not protected from the road so that you have some traffic noises in the background depending on the time of day. I usually only have my earplugs with me and listen to music during work, but it can distract a bit if you are sensitive to noise and want to relax or have a conversation. Although the waiters we are very friendly, sometimes we are a bit slow and not quite understood what I ordered. They also tried to review me and to do an Instagram story on my order. I'll be back here a few times to enjoy the atmosphere!

Was around the corner in Studio69 and went for cappuccino and American coffee. Friendly server and relaxing atmosphere with solid music selection.

This is hands down the best place to eat in the area. Beautiful dinning and the food is just amazing. The coffee too is really great, I highly recommend this place.

I went here with my wife and it was hands down one of the best times that we've had in a long time. It was nice to be able to really get a release. The food was am amazing! The atmosphere was superb. Definitely our go to place

Level of attention was just right. A very easy atmosphere to relax and enjoy at your own pace. Breads and coffees are great.
