So, we put or names down and waited to be seated. We didn't wait too long, less than 15 minutes I'd say. Not too bad. Tables were turned over quickly as it was all business there. Eat and go, no loitering around taking up space. Service was adequate. Not sure how else to describe it. Good, then as it wasn't bad but not so good that I'm here raving about it. We weren't left waiting or wanting anything. Got our order, food, drinks, refills and bill. Like I said, it was all business. As for the food, my burger was ok. I must not have taken pics as it's not linking to this review but it was a little on the dry side. But not so dry as to send to it back. Flavor was ok too. Not so bad that I needed or asked for condiments to spice up the flavor. Loved the fries though. Nice and crispy. And the special lemonade offering was great. It was a little warm that day we visited so it definitely was a hit for the both of us. Though it wasn't a bad experience, we both felt the same way after we left. Ok
Great menu, simple and accessible, great service, friendly vibes. Very popular so that might affect wait time, and parking on Main Street is sometimes challenging. Nice stopover for singles, couples, families, hikers, and directly across from the grocery store for additional stocking up
Very rustic very cute spot ! A little tight walking around. Staff was excellent and food was good!
Was contacted by the owner Cara after my initial review. What I got wasn't an apology or hey come back we'll make it up to you. No, I got excuses and Cara went on the offensive putting the blame on us because we showed a lack of patience. The owners arrogant and is one of those people that doesn't like to admit error. She boasts how long she's been in business and turned the tables making the experience our fault. I hadn't mentioned it before but will now. They also have this cute little sign on the table that's double sided. One side has some gobbledygook writing on it, which faces the customer and looks pretty ordinary. This I assume is down with a purposeful hand as to not directly advise the customer of the process increase to the bill, but later justify it when the customer gets angry. If you take the time to flip it around and read it, it states that there is a 5% add on fee for food cost increases added to your final bill. So when people get pissed, they can say hey it's posted in the table. That way they don't look like they're being greedy. Let me tell ya, the price you pay for a cup of coffee and a meal is already super inflated at that place. Yeah, it's cute, it's cozy and you can buy a candle or jar of jelly on your way out. But cmon. And I also gotta say, the food was very good several years ago but we noticed a steep decline over the last 5 years or so. Not good. Not special and to be honest, I've left there kinda angry in the past because the meal was silly expensive for very low quality. There ya go Cara how's my update? Lucky for you the cafe is located in a tourist spot because if you pulled that garbage with the **** service, low food quality and sneaky cost additions, you'd be taking a lot more heat and quite possibly out of business. Your kind of business model is predatory in nature and your only saving grace is the location. It certainly isn't the food and most definitely not the service. Jesus loves you. Have a great day
Food was insanely delicious. We went for breakfast and both got veggie omelettes. Their home fries are tasty and their bacon was perfect. We got their specialty pumpkin waffles which was heavenly. Coffee was pretty good. We did have to wait about an hour to be seated but hey it was a Saturday in October, we just walked around for awhile while we waited. Highly recommend!
