What a candid this caffe has gone down, service is not existent. wrong coffee was waited for 25 minutes for food order, instead of too late and flat white, 2 flat whites were delivered, said nothing simply accepted. the coffee was good and completely finished when the food had not yet arrived. When I was looking for the food that was told to me, it would be only another 3 minutes, what it was not, how hard is it to deliver sausage roll and lachspattie in time? when I ordered, there was not someone waiting for coffee or eating, so they don't know how to manage if there were many customers. the sad was also that they really did not care, only young workers who run the show that obviously do not care or know what customer experience is. young girl could not explain why the order lasted so long. I'm sorry, but earlier was a good little place to go, no more, much more better place with the staff who get it!
I have been frequenting this establishment for breakfast for some time now, and they serve the best coffee in the area. Their toasted sandwiches are also excellent.
We came upon this place by accident, and what a great surprise. We now go quite regularly. The Rueben Sandwich is delicious and my personal favourite. My partner has tried everything on the menu and loved it all. The Effel Tower with bacon is definitely...his regular choice. I love the eggs Benedict, it’s a great portion size. The service is a little slow, but that has never bothered us, as the chiefs seem to take there time to do quality work, and I think that’s important they are given that time to keep standards high. We just read the news paper and talk to each other. We also bought a wide variety of the cakes/slices to take to events. And everyone has enjoyed them.
I’ve been popping in to BR Parkdale for a few years now and this place never disappoints. The staff are always friendly and the food never disappoints. My favourite is the Fritters zucchini fritters serves with home made baked beans, smoked salmon and a...poached egg. Superb breakfast! I do like to sneak in here for a quiet coffee and bite to eat on my own so I can read the paper in silence out the back. The High Tea is also worth an outing with friends. A huge array of freshly prepared savoury and sweet treats it’s more of a meal than an afternoon tea so come with an empty stomach! I’ve also brought a large group here for a breakfast post run and the timeliness of their service for a group of 10+ (with advanced notice) did not disappoint. Everyone was impressed with the quality and variety of the food, coffee and service. Love this place!!
