Anthony and the kitchen staff are all stars. The young chef really knows his flavours. My wife had the Sicilian Arancini as well as the Spinach Gogonzola Apple Salad as her dinner. The meat sauce was light and flavourful, as well the salad had...a Vanilla Balsamic drizzle that was so delicious we purchased a bottle to take home. The opening bread and Olive oil with sundried tomatoes, also caused us to aquire a bottle of that to go. I had the Filet Mignon that was cooked exactly the way I had ordered it and the garlic mashed potatoes with fresh green beans were delicious. The only recommendation I could possibly make was to have more whole peppercorns in the sauce. Our server was extremely attentive and pleasurable. We truly recommend Mettawas Station as a destination you need to add to your itinerary. Wes and Megan
We have recently dined in this restaurant. When I made the reservation, I was told that we had a table upstairs. as the first guest and from the city I had no idea what that meant. the upper floor is a small room. as we were, there were two big parties and two tables of four. one of the big groups was so loud that it was impossible for our party of four to continue a conversation. we asked to be moved, but there were no tables at the top level. this great party continued to open a window, which led to very cold drafts in the escaping area. when the management asked to close the window, there was sung in her misfortune. eating was just okay. I ordered the gnocchi. on the menu there was no notice that this dish was sharp. for me, the spicy was too much and led to the fact that I could not eat my meal. I would not return to this restaurant. on a positive, our waiter, sebastian, was excellent.
We had a fantastic dinner with friends at this restaurant. Both my husband and I ordered the steak, which was cooked perfectly. Our friends opted for the ribs and chicken parmigiana, and they thoroughly enjoyed their meals as well. While it is a higher-end dining establishment and you may have to pay more, it is definitely worth it. Our server was friendly and attentive throughout the evening.
My first clue was the very basic $13 Caesar. The burrata was actually just mozzarella, and some of the Italian was misspelled on the menu. I was annoyed by the sneaky “ala carte” pricing —bread is extra, fries are extra. The food was fine—kind of...bland—okay for Kingsville but certainly not worth the $200 we spent. It’s a shame. I really wanted to love it.
