The restaurant is charming and cozy, with both indoor and outdoor igloo seating. I chose to sit indoors due to the unpredictable mountain weather, but the outdoor igloo seating looked very intimate with blankets and heaters. We were seated in a corner with a view of the kitchen in the center of the dining room. They only have one seating per night, creating a 2.5 hour experience to truly savor and enjoy the food. We both opted for the wine pairing, which was excellent. The wines selected were ones that I would typically choose and they paired perfectly with the dishes. The poppy seed salmon was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. The strip steak was also incredibly tender. I loved all the wines chosen, including a bubbly from France, a local Pinot from the PNW, a Melbac, and a chenin blanc. The dessert wine, a Hungarian dessert wine, was a special treat. I will definitely return if I am in the area again. I appreciate that despite being a tourist town, the restaurant still goes above and beyond to make visitors want to come back for more. I would honestly return to Leavenworth just to dine at this restaurant again!
This restaurant was fantastic! We visited for our 10th anniversary. The food was excellent and the staff was friendly, well-informed, and welcoming of any questions. We opted for both the wine pairing and the non-alcoholic elixir pairing. We may skip the elixirs next time (just personal preference). If you're looking to splurge on a special evening out, I highly recommend Mana. They were very accommodating to my husband's low lactose diet. We also noticed they catered to many other dietary restrictions as well.
What a fantastic experience! The food was flavorful and fresh. We opted for the elixir pairing and were impressed by the non-alcoholic option. The meticulous preparation of each dish was like watching a perfectly choreographed performance. Definitely worth the price!
Mana deserves to be in the conversation of best restaurant in the PNW. The whole experience was wonderful, dare I say tantalizing. My wife and I sat inside and I'm certainly glad we did. There we got the inherent sensory benefit of seeing, hearing, and smelling each dish as it was prepared for the seating that night. It gave it a cozy feeling to an otherwise open and airy atmosphere.. The chefs and service staff were humble and friendly, and it was a nice touch for the head chef to speak to the crowd as a whole to thank everyone in attendance and their local purveyors before the last course. Each dish had perfectly paired ingredients, great finesse on the cook, was beautifully plated, and truly intrigued the tastebuds. The wine and mocktail pairings were also both spot on, which was a delightful added experience to an already fantastic menu.
Mana was a great experience. Immaculate, friendly service and a lovely space. The tasting menu was inventive and generally well executed but fell short on a few courses. Amazing amuse bouche, great smoked halibut, and fabulous mushroom tart. Wine pairing was also really good. Others courses missed the mark. At this price point it should all be top notch. Worth a try, and we really enjoyed our time. Dietary restrictions: Very happy to accommodate dietary requirements, and even printed custom menus. Impressive!
