Gloria our server was very patient and kind. The kids meals were a tremendous value, with fries, a drink and ice cream for less than $10. The burgers were tasty but definitely get the deluxe version and while you’re at it get all the potato salad you can!
So I set up a small luncheon for about 20 people after my sister's wake. I dealt with a lady over the phone and everything turned out great. They had it buffet style, chicken parm baked ziti,.pepper steak and rice pilaf. Meat and cheese platter with rolls and a big salad, also coffee, tea and sodas. Food was great. They were very accommodating and they didn't ask for payment until end of luncheon. So it turned out very nice considering I had never been here before. The one waitress was so very attentive with my party. It was a nice day.
I'm going to start with the positives. There's nothing that wasn't on the menu and It's great in a small town to be able to find a place that's open late..especially a diner setting, it just didn't deliver..and I don't mean delivery service. We were there for almost an hour before food finally came out, and it took like 20 minutes for someone to even come get our drink orders. Service was just very slow. We had high hopes, because we ordered the potato skins as an app and they were really good, but the rest of the food was meh...my French toast was borderline cold, but edible. My husband's Philly cheesesteak the roll was as hard as a rock, we had to ask to have the rolls swapped, it looked amazing but way over toasted, my brother in laws medium cooked hamburger was RAW (she did comp that because at that point he was too grossed out to order anything else and she offered a free dessert so that was appreciated) my sister in laws blackened chicken dinner was barely even browned, and my 6 year old nieces chicken nugget dinner tasted like mcdonalds nuggets (to some that may be great) it was just overpriced and food was mediocre at best, not really the diner experience we had expected or hoped for, but again we were glad they were open.
We stopped by on our way to another place and since we were too early we came here...a throwback to another time in the Catskills..Really liked it...good for a stopover meal off Rt 17.
