El Fuego Latino - Longwood

Love this place very very fresh I go to high end place all the time, this was better then them and fresh and cheap. Two people with two beers and a soda $28.67

The service is excruciatingly SLOW!! Literally 40 minutes to get a to go order when there's only 2 people in front of you. And the other employees don't get up to help. They just sit around on the computer. Getting a to go order over the phone is impossible as well. Because they NEVER answer. We ended up driving there only to find a note on the door that said they'd be closed for almost 2 weeks! Couldn't they have had the professional courtesy to leave that on their voicemail? Instead, the voicemail says they'll be closed for 2 days...in JUNE!! And they leave it up to the customer to repeatedly call and eventually figure it out themselves that nobody is even in the place. We started going to MR. MOFONGOS OR LECHONERA LATINA INSTEAD!! Better quality food and you get a ton more for less!!

I redownloaded this app just to write this review, that is to say I don't do this often. But wow. Four of us came in for lunch today after getting rained out at Wekiva springs. Shrimp mofongo... delicious Empanadas ... wonderful Pernil... perfectly seasoned and tender Rice and beans... nostalgic House made hot sauce... bright and spicy Owners are friendly, accommodating, and absolutely hospitable. I don't know what more to say other than I'm eating the leftovers right now writing this. I'll be back this week!

This place is closed. My 1 star is to get me here to keep others from doing what I did, set my sights on Puerto Rican food only to find them closed. Their listing needs to be updated.

My 1st visit and I had the duofongo with garlic shrimp and spicy beef empanada. The empanada i will see was good the beef had a good flavor and was packed with beef. The duofongo was good however i felt there was a bit to much butter garlic sauce which overwhelmed all the flavors but still was not bad. I will be back again!
