Contribuer aux commentairesI haven't been back since I worked in the area six years ago. I was hoping to get a Giamella style sandwich without having to drive 20 miles today. I went there today and was pleasantly surprised that they still build them the same way: with meat and tomatoes, onions, pickles and yellow Chiles when you ask. One colleague and I decided to try two different greats so that we can share them and enjoy them both. We had Philly Steak and Pastrami. The Philly was very good, with taste, especially with the grilled onions on it. I would have. The pastrami, on the other hand, was very bland. The meat itself was not fat or of poor quality, it had only no taste. I will go back to try some others and since they have no menus for me to take back to work, I will share a picture of the menu with my phone. This place is a hole in the wall I like, nothing imagination, but has potential. In my opinion, Giamella (Burbank, Sunland) is even better and has a better price ($6/lg against $9/lg).
The food was really pretty dirty, the service was HORRIBLE....and I mean as rude as you can imagine. I was insulted as they talked to me, and I have teenagers! The add-on options are very limited, only tomatoes, pickles and onions....this is it. No salad, paprika, olives, sauces etc. Parking is very limited, such as seating. I think there are at most 4 tables. Oh, and don't go to Matt Tonys unless you have time to kill. It took about 25 minutes to put together a sandwich. Save the engraving. Do not waste your time, there are much better restaurants in the area.
