Today, I went out to lunch with a group of friends and without knowing, I ordered my usual meal, a chicken parmigiana. I was shocked at the price I paid for a small portion of chicken with two cold tomato slices and a small amount of melted cheese. Is it really worth paying $27.00 for such a basic pub meal? I don't think so. Despite living only 11km away, I do not plan on returning to this restaurant.
A lovely old stone pub with plenty of charm and a wonderful atmosphere for dining. We enjoyed garlic prawn linguine and crumbed chicken with a delectable sticky date pudding for dessert. The food was fantastic and the customer service was top-notch from this small town establishment. A definite must-visit when in Macclesfield, South Australia.
We came and welcomed pleasantly from the waitress manager. she loved her maniacs and swaggers. a little cheeky, a little funny, made the evening just a pleasure. knit chicken and spice in. both great meals, followed by. the pub itself is just as old. world charm that they might have been in Europe, not yet adelaide hills.
Went for lunch today, it was a dreary summer day but small fire was lit. We ordered Guinness pie, chicken schnitzel and eggplant stack. All were piping hot and absolutely delicious. The wine we ordered wasn’t available but instead of coming back with a menu...the waitress came back with three comparable choices outstanding! Highly recommend and we can’t wait to return.
