And several selections of local beers, mixed drinks, so everyone is happy. Just visiting Verona, Toot Kate's makes me sad in leaving. Gonna miss this place Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Fun location and a cool idea for a casual date night. Fairly generic decorations but the seating was comfortable enough. Maybe it was because of the machinery used to dispense the wines or just a weird selection when I went, but I wouldn’t say any of the 3 wines I tried here were particularly good and all tasted a little stale. But the good news is you can get pretty small samples like I did, so you don’t need to be stuck with just one wine. Prices are perfectly reasonable as well.
The wines here range from bad to acceptable. Don't expect anything great. The cards can be fussy. Overpriced in general. The service the handful of times I've been there has ranged from irritable to frantic. The ambiance is pleasant, but the space is small. I'll try it again after they move to their new space.
Came here for a Mom's Night Out event, and really enjoyed it! It's a cute little place in downtown Verona, and I really love the idea. You come in, hand over either a credit card or ID to the bartender, and then they give you a card to use the wine bar. I really loved being able to choose the size of the pour and then do it myself! Something satisfying in that. I liked the variety of wines on tap, and the bartender is very attentive to the machine in order to replace empty bottles. There isn't a whole lot of seating available, which is the only downfall. The restroom is fun, as the walls are decorated with photographs of previous patrons. Next time I'd like to try some snacks! It looks like there is a nice selection for pairing with the wines.
Great atmosphere, even cooler wine dispenser and charging system! Definitely a place I could see myself utilizing for a small group gathering after work (3-4 people) and enjoying a cozy glass of wine or even studying with a cheese board and a glass of red. Thanks for the hospitality, y'all!
