Thai street food.I know that King's Square tends to be quite empty (sometimes abandoned looking), but...You place your order online at their counter, show up in 15-20 minutes to a hot pizza.I ordered half veggie, half meat. Everything was delicious, well seasoned, excellent variety of veggies. Nice treat overall.
SOI catered my baby shower and all my guests were SO impressed with the food. Favorites were the deep fried fish balls with tamarind sauce, green curry and fried chicken salad. Not only was the food a 10/10, the team was also professional and responsive. I can’t thank the team enough!!
Located inside King Square shopping center, north of woodbine and 16th ave. This is by far the best food shop inside King Square. I was kinda blown away tbh. The food is very authentic. My friends and I ordered up PB1C (the party picnic box combo) to share. The box included sauteed shrimps, calamari, fishballs, fried chicken cartilage, grilled chicken, shrimp chips, mango salad and 3 sauces. On the side it came with mango sticky rice and 2 drinks. We chose thai milk tea (less sweet) and thai lime tea (less sweet as well). The food was SO TASTY. Seasoning was on point and the homemade sauces were FIRE. My fave was the peanut sauce. The thai lime tea was super unique imo. You don't really find that at many thai restos even the authentic ones downtown. I also loved the fact that you can adjust the sweetness level on the tea as well which is a welcome surprise. Normally, restos just give you a default level of sweetness.
TL; DR Skeptical at first but glad I 'm wrong will be back to try more flavours!Typically not a fan of Asian Fusion because it 's usually overhyped and not done well (perhaps I 'm biased that the Asian dish usually gets a downgrade after fusing with Western style... . Never thought Khao Soi would fuse into anything else as it 's delicious on its own! Well, it clearly works on a pizza.Tried their Khao Soi Seafood (had a nice mix of shrimp and calamari pizza and Cheesy Corn. Both are fantastic! Being in pizza (thin crust form, flavours weren 't lost at all in the Khao Soi, tastes exactly like it, minus the crunchy bits and noodles. It 's quite unique! Cheesy Corn is a creamy sweetness, excellent too similar to Korean style pizzas. Can 't dine at Thai restaurant without trying their Thai Milk Tea... Definitely a must! Very robust tea flavour and chose their less sweet option. Will try their full sweet option next time as it didn 't taste like artificial syrup.Tidbits: Food court restaurant in a newer plaza with an abysmally designed parking lot. It was like a maze to get out. Online ordering is available and very convenient.Looking forward to returning.
Ordered the N12 Tom Leng Zaap and the R4 Fried chicken garlic rice. Very good tasty portions for such a great price. Was too eager to eat the food so forgot to take pictures to add to this review, haha. Definitely recommended and will revisit again!Dietary restrictions: Was able to have the broth low salt and low spice which was nice!
