The Italian Oven is a wonderful neighborhood restaurant that has been reinvigorated since the original owner returned after a 10 -year “retirement”. The service is very friendly and it has some of the best Pizza around along with many other excellent dishes. The owner has been a fantastic supporter of local arts since starting this restaurant well over 40 years ago A real contributor to the McLean Community

We picked up several items for an early lunch. Everything was excellent. Bread on sandwiches is very light but crispy so the flavors really come through. The eggplant Parmesan is very very good.

We had pizza. It was very good, probably the best I have had in this area. Delicious and not too salty, with a tasty bread. The atmosphere was also very good; we were there a little earlier than usual dinner time, around 5 pm, and received our food quickly. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. The waiter was very welcoming and nice.Parking: It has a parking lot in front of the restaurant.

I have lunch here with friends at least twice a month and it is always excellent! Tha carbonara with wild boar is the best I have ever had and the calamari is perfect. Highly recommend and I'm getting hungry so I'm heading over there now!
