The portions were reasonable, the food was delicious, and they offered a great selection of organic products, fresh juices, and excellent service. We will definitely miss Broad Bean!
The restaurant features friendly and helpful staff who sell a variety of items including coffee, tea, freshly pressed juices, organic food, fruits, vegetables, quiches, pastries, cakes, and sandwiches. It is a small, well-stocked establishment with indoor seating and a few tables outside.
The staff, the food, the juices, and the coffee are all fantastic. The restaurant is conveniently located near the Australian Ballet School, making my trip to Melbourne much easier.
We had some dietary requirements in our travel group which were hard to cater for however this largely organic shop is a mini supermarket as well as café. Huge range of food available including a small range of meats, dairy and fresh fruit and veg....Particularly good range of snack foods and tasty gourmet brands of every kind. Vegans and vegetarians well catered for also. Coffee is excellent too although did take a while with one machine and a lot of demand. Friendly and helpful service, small area of seating is available and take-out seem to be most popular.
Found here a couple years ago and anytime we stay in Melbourne around Southbank they are our go to. Great little organic café/grocer with everything very reasonably priced. Smoothies, juices and good coffee. Pre packaged salads came in handy for some nights to take into...the tennis. Just a great little spot.
