The portions were delicious and we will definitely be returning. The restaurant could use some updating, but overall the dining experience was fantastic.
I decided to give this restaurant a try based on the positive reviews about their amazing curry flavors. I ordered the mild lamb korma, medium butter chicken, plain naan, papadums, and the cucumber and mint sauce. Unfortunately, the flavors were lacking and the cucumber and mint sauce, as well as the papadums, were disappointing. I personally prefer the spicier options at Spicy Affair in South Melbourne.
I dined at a restaurant tonight and halfway through my curry, I discovered a piece of stainless steel scourer in my mouth. Should I be concerned and go for a food test? The curry seemed to be made from precooked meat that had been sitting for four hours, cooked slowly in a sauce. The tandoori chicken had small 0.5mm cuts from the marinade, indicating it may have been a quick marinate and grill job. The samosas were large, mashed potato balls that were baked rather than fried. The sauces were flavorful but appeared to be made with a lot of effort. The owners should be able to recognize my order based on the details provided.
Plain decoration and a little obsolete. we had kondimente, naan, tikka masala, lamb madras and rice for 2 $45. nice average Indian food, nothing special but nice. very friendly and helpful staff.
This is one of the best Indian restaurant/ take away I have ever used, The food is great and tastes perfect, They deliver and if you are in Melbourne and love your Indian food you can't give this one a miss. Eat in or take...away always great.
