I’ve reviewed Pho Tam a few times before it’s always delicious. One of the things we love about it is being able to sit outside. My favourite in Footscray.
We really missed our weekly trips to Pho Tam during COVID, so we were delighted to visit on the weekend now that they've reopened. Of all the Vietnamese restaurants in Footscray, Pho Tam remains our favourite because of the big windows, the relatively calm vibe and the great food. They are good with our kids and service is consistent. Between two adults and two kids, we had spring rolls, beef pho, diced beef with rice, rice vermicelli with pork chop and two iced coffees for $60.
Our family goes out of their way to dine at Pho Tam. Terrific little restaurant. Always friendly, delicious and comforting. Kids devour their meals and even drink tea with us. Back soon.
Forced to find a car park off Barkly it appears ‘angels’ had purpose divine on detour. Having tried all the other main Vietnamese restaurants in area this one is a gem worth finding. Even my fussy 9 yo, usually quick on complaints, said “Dad, can we come back here?”. Good taste that lad. Across family we tried a variety of dishes and all amazingly delicious. This will become our regular. Lovely service by friendly staff. Better than flying to Vietnam!
