The atmosphere is pretty nice and it's okay. for the price they charge, you would expect much better. server was quite uncomfortable as she was the only one. Beware that someone decided to take the day off and she was. not our problem, they tell their manager. very expensive for food quality. it took a lot of time to take orders because it was all electronic and she went into another entry. finally came the bill, now she quickly showed me on the tablet. I don't know if it's legitimate or not. no more papal. paid with credit card and again, no paper receipt. we could give her our phone number to the sms or email address. but with all those cheating out there is my number. do not waste their time or money at this place. definitiw not worth. we came to celebrate a retirement and were very disappointed. will not come back. $19 for poutine. wtf
Note that I have not even come to the food or drink part of my review, so can not comment on it. my friend (brown skinned woman and I (caucasian went in after 1 o'clock on Tuesday and the area was almost full. the older male bartender. (owner? manager? specified, he only has space on the bar. my friend went into the washroom and I tried to sit on the bar and he said I had to sit on the other side (from the escaping area and right in front of the garmen the bar. I followed and pulled chairs for us when I saw that a 4 satish cleaned, set and free was cleaned. I asked the waitress if I could sit there and she told the bartender who said we were only 2 people and would not sit there. so their lunch break ended and 2 people were not allowed to sit there. about yourself! her assessment on this page has her at 3 out of 5. you need to....seriously!
Last Friday we were in the soon-to-day inn and ate dinner in the dining room inn. we had pre-dinner drinks in the lounge area, where we were entertaining with some people and had a great time. after that we moved to the dining room for. our server laurie was amazing! she served the entire bar and the dining room itself! crazy, but true. she did everything with a friendly smile and attention to everyone table. I had that stuffed huh and my beau had to rip the bark short. both came hot and both were delicious! we had a nice choice of the side and the soße on each teller was to die. we felt the prizes were great and the vino was excellent. most importantly, laurie made our evening with their excellent service and, she brought dessert for my partner, whose birthday we celebrated. he and I shared a delicious cheesecake. we would not hesitate to recommend the soonachin inn dining room and as the first timer to merrickville I loved the picturesque city and beautiful shops.
We came from ottawa to merrickville on a hot and beautiful Sunday afternoon (formerly juli 2022). the terrace was nice and pretty busy, but we have a table right away. there were only two servers that gave orders and a third person who delivered some of the...measures to the tables. our server was a woman with medium age who seemed a bit roaring when she arrived to take our drinks orders. she asked me first what I would like to drink and I asked her what cocktail she could suggest (because the menu didn't list certain cocktails (or maybe I didn't see where they were listed) and had simply the generic word cooler. she asked what I like, so I didn't say something too sweet. they said everyone cooler is very sweet. she didn't say there were cocktails, so it sounded like there was only cooler or cry. I asked what taste coolers they have. instead of telling me a few aromes, she asked me what taste I like. I'm not a more frequent drinker, so I didn't even know what to ask. So I asked if she had something lemon. She suddenly told me they didn't have a lemon. So I asked what she has, maybe drowning? instead of just saying that she didn't know and she 'd go check, she rolled her eyes, turned to my man and said I'll take her drink order and then I'll make a list of coolers for her wife. How rude! I didn't say anything. obviously she was roaring or had a bad day. the funny thing is that my man asked them what crafts they have, and without hesitation, she has got about 8-10 marks / arts of craft beer. she knows the beer, but didn't know the cooler and couldn't disturb it. When she came back with his beer, she had a lemon-plumbed vodka cooler for me (even if she told me they didn't have a lemon) and she never harassed me to find out or tell me what others had. I have not made any lust and we gave a good tipp after our lunch (which was quite expensive, but we realize that the restaurant prices are high in these days, so that we are not disturbed) and drinks; but their attitude was bad and I would not want to come back to this restaurant, even if we otherwise enjoyed the meal / drinks and environment. if it is not happy to work in the service industry, there are many other jobs nowadays.
