The tilapia was not very tasty, but the potatoes were decent, the steamed carrots were excellent, and the macaroni and cheese was good. The salad was just a salad, but still enjoyable. The steak was of low quality and quite fatty, but it was well-seasoned and cooked exactly as we requested. Vince, our server, was fantastic; he went above and beyond to ensure our steak orders were perfect and managed to bring us our meals efficiently while half the restaurant was being cleaned. The service was outstanding. The dessert was definitely the highlight of the night, with plenty of options to choose from.
I've never had an issue at either the Stapley or Southern locations. The new waitress at Stapley was cheerful and efficient. My mom, who is 85 and quite particular about her food, and I go there weekly for the grain bread. I often wonder what other customers are complaining about; their concerns seem a bit exaggerated to me.
In terms of buffets, this one is quite pleasant. It offers a quieter and more relaxing atmosphere compared to the other bustling options nearby. The staff was friendly, and the food was tasty with a nice variety. The price was reasonable, although I think it could be slightly lower. Overall, it’s a solid buffet choice.
