I was skeptical because it was a gas as well as a restaurant. Staff was very professional and polite. Brisket and pulled pork were absolutely amazing and I’m a bit of a snob because I judge Texas BBQ every year.Food: 5/5
I went with my coworker for lunch. I had brisket, he had ribs sausage. He spent $15+ I spent $12 both of us had water. So…He liked the sausage, our sides were small but good enough (coleslaw, beans, potato salad) and sadly that’s the end of the “like.”His ribs looked like they took one long rib cut it into 3. Very little meat, very tough. Decent flavor for gnawing but that’s about it.My brisket was cooked well enough, decent bark, but VERY dry and tough. Definitely a lower quality cut of beef.While the price is about average for presumably up-sorta-scale BBQ (the place is nice looking clean although it’s counter service not table service) as a value proposition it underperforms quite a bit.
We were traveling from Texas to Mississippi and randomly stoped here. Darius was the first person we met and the was so nice and accommodating! Then I met the guy smoking the ribs, and he was just as great! Their ribs are some of the best bbq I have had. I will stop here next time I make this drive!Food: 5/5
