Wildkaffee

This is a busy cafe at the station with good snacks and drinks. An ideal place to wait for your train. It's light and airy with plenty of tables, however they will be busy during the ski season with people coming and going by train.

Used this location a couple of times as the busses originate and return here. The hot drinks are good sized and some of the cheapest and the staff were especially friendly. Snacks and large sandwiches are also available along with magazines/papers/cards. There is seating out front and on the station platform (not restricted access) both with a view of the surrounding mountains.

Man hat mir dort ein Glas Wasser verweigert, obwohl ich sehr durstig war und es dort auf den ersten Blick am Bahnhof nirgendwo etwas am Abend zu trinken gab. Schlimme Gastronomie, nie wieder.

This coffeehouse is located at the Train Station/Bahnhoff in Mittenwald. It has a great ambiance and great views of the surrounding mountains. The coffee here is always freshly roasted and delicious. You can also grab quickly a to-go cup before you board the train.
