Chronic Tacos - Monrovia

I was planning on taking my kid and I to get food at the Monrovia Street Fair, but I was greeted by Desi and Catalina on the way there. They were so friendly and told me about the deals of the day. There was something so sweet about their disposition. I told them we'd come back after checking out the street fair.We were planning on looking for food at the street fair, but legit, Desi and Catalina's positive energy were stuck in my head. I was thinking, omg, there is something so positive about these guys. They were also so kind to my 4 year old, who is super shy. They looked at him and told him the deals, which I appreciate cuz he is so picky about going to places. So, the fact that my son allowed us to come back and sit inside speaks volumes.The food is good! I love the carnitas. They have such a great deal unlimited tacos deal!Parking: tons nearby for freeService: amazing! They make me want to come back! I told a bunch of friends about this place!!Overall: I really like this place!

The current happy hour they've had since January! Awesome! The concept of a prepaid tap card for booze, love it. The happy hour pricing hopefully it stays. It doesn't seem sustainable, but a great way to get new customers.The food isn't amazing but it's also not bad. A few drinks and some food, great! The food is just lacking a little... I'm not sure! It just needs a little extra flavor! The price is normal comparatively, if it were a little lower or the portions a little larger, down! So many some bigger servings. I'm a hungry boyyyy.For now, I'll be here for the happy hour drinks! A great way to sample some new local beers, too! Local breweries should definitely subsidize some of the pricing hehe cause this happy hour (again, probably too good of a deal to be profitable) is the best in town!Clean, inviting, and nice space!

I've been to one other CT years ago, it was ok. When I saw this one was open, I thought to myself to give it another try. Over the years, I have been to trucks, taco set up on the street, carts, I purchased tamales from the lady at Walmart in the parking lot, And I've been to just about every Bertos style taco shop around, and not once did I ever get sick. I didn't wanna have to write this review, but the first time I go to chronic tacos, I get A case of food poisoning, which is unfortunate, because the food was actually very good.

Went here after gym and got the Chorizo Breakfast Burrito. Tasted really good. I'll definitely come back to try more. Btw, the Habanero sauce isn't
