The service was a smart sketch because the staff had been informed a few days before our visit by e-mail that the restaurant 7/31/22 had closed so that the Seaport Museum could tear off the building for a boutique hotel. That means the staff was still friendly and professional. Again, the food was excellent and the mystical area will lose a real jewel.
On holiday. Beautiful outdoor seating under a tent on the water. The location, setting, view, ambience were perfect. The food was fine, but nothing really came out. The location was great for us, because after 9 hours drive the convenience of the parking lot was very appreciated. Overall, I would eat there again.
This review is based on the restaurant closed for a private event when we arrived. We had made the reservation by Open Table weeks in advance. Another dinner reservation during a very busy summer season in Newport was difficult to find. We would have liked to have eaten in Latitude 41, as other reviews are very good. Someone in management must apologize.
Reservations made without waiting on our table on arrival. Parking is convenient over the street, . Beautiful location on the Mystic River. We wanted to eat outside because the evening was sunny and warm along the river. Great waiter . . friendly, attentive and very helpful, with many extra waiting staff in. Our portions were staggered as we asked . . . . . . . food choices were somewhat limited, but great decisions and were perfectly prepared. We had a great time for an anniversary celebration. The waiter even helped with a picture. We will definitely go back.
Great service; seafood was prepared well. Outdoor dining available.
