And it was! We ordered the tofu burger and a savory muffin, both of which were amazing. The chutney was excellent, as was the tofu. We didn't try the coffee, but it seems to be their specialty, with their own roasting. The outdoor seating area was lovely, simple but charming. The service was decent as well. The only downside was that the price for the burger (and other items on the menu) was a bit high, especially considering the size of the burger.
This unique restaurant is a favorite among locals. We decided to try it out because we are constructing a building nearby, making it our most convenient dining option. While the prices are a bit expensive and the service can be a little slow, the food is absolutely delicious.
If you're in search of quality coffee, Guru Life restaurant is the perfect spot to visit. Their menu offers unique and carefully crafted dishes. We had a lovely lunch in their garden, and were pleased to find that our small dog was also welcomed.
After having driven past this place for years I finally had the opportunity to visit. It has a lovely, garden/cortyard environment with great jazzy music playing. Very relaxing overall. Coffee was great and came in a large mug size. Bacon and eggs were perfectly done too. I had heard this place had some great cookbooks/ magazines to flick thru. I looked but couldn't find them. I asked a staff member where they might be and he had no idea and was completely disinterested. That was my only complaint. Prices are probably also on the steep side for where it is and what it is- $5 for a capp in a mug and $16 for bacon and eggs.
This place has a beautiful outlook but absolutely disgusted in their food and price. Took 35 min for a hot chocolate and coffee. Then a further 20min wait for food. No flavour small meals. Over heard the table next to us saying the eggs were like plastic, should of walked out then. Ordered corn fritters which were 3 small balls and hommus and a slice of avocado for $21. Go out for breakfast some where every Sunday and this is by far the worst place we have been. So bad that I downloaded this app to write my first review. Chefs had long hair and beards with no hair nets as well.
