The best place to eat in Nazare!!! nice staff, next to the fish is Delicius!!! Good value for money!

The owner of the restaurant began, very friendly, chatty. He pushed his own agenda very skillfully from the beginning. We ordered things that we didn't really want. We asked for a fish he recommended instead. twice the price. We asked about glass of wine. He had not the usual cheap house wine, but he opened another but forgot to mention that it is the most expensive bottle of the average wine you can get for your money in Nazarre. We were in the restaurant once before lunch (not especially, but cheap enough). We didn't expect the owner who immediately recognized us and knew we were pulled to Nazarre to tear us down bluntly. We're one of the locals now. When we confronted him with the price of the bill that was twice the price of one of the best restaurants in Nazarre. He laughed quite in our face and made an invoice based on his sum, which has not yet been with the original bill we had to begin with. Full scam. The food was not bad, but you get twice as good as anywhere else. The service was good (he tried really hard). Then you will be thrown with the bill and it makes sense. Normally, if a customer would ask about the price of the bill, all businessmen should declare a will or apologise, but he was rude how to be.

The owner seemed to be fiendly, but it was only for his own turnaround. He brought us an entrée that we did not ask with something octopus and 6 shrimps and a sauce that we do not taste at all, as we do not like it. Usually the restaurants give a Entrée, but this is free as you did not order it. When he convinced us to choose a wine, he said it was much better than the others.with high price. When we asked the dessert, I asked for a ball of lemon ice cream... he brought two.. The last bill was much higher than expected in a restaurant of this quality and level. The last surprise? He did not accept credit cards as there is an ATM nearby. So he doesn't want to pay commissions... but we did it if we don't have money. In short...for a second course and two balls of lemon ice cream that he bought from the supermarket, we saw him go and enter again with the packaging) we have paid much more than in a fine and elegant restaurant in Porto!!! It was a full ****!!!

Excellent and attentive service. Our fish were perfectly cooked. Beautiful location near sightseeing.

Been here for drinks, lunch and dinner. Always treated like an old friend coming back home. Try the fish or the meat, every dish will be well prepared and made in a good Portuguese way. If you don't know what you will have, ask for...suggestions. The staff will fix it for you. Very good, very nice. We will be back. Kent and Johanna
