My first real fondue experience. And it was fantastic! Gruyere fondue and tomato fondue with small potatoes were yummy!! The atmosphere was unique, like a century ago!
I visited with a group of six friends and had a great time. The staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. The menu had all the usual suspects but fondue is a definitely the way to go here. There are a good dozen cheesy...varieties but We all partook of the mixed meat, and we all loved it. There was a plentiful supply of beef, chicken, pork and horse (yes, I know, but trust me it's tender and delicious) and the broth was wonderfully flavoured with red wine and herbs without overpowering the meat. An enjoyable evening all round, and I'm reliably informed by my friend that during the day the view from the outdoor seating is great.

Cheese fondue, meat fondue or croûte aux morilles : my favorite food in this restaurant menu. Location is very nice, great for families, good service. You can eat outside on the terrace to enjoy the sun and the nice view or in the cozy room inside...to spend the evening with friends.
Located in the old Neuchâtel golf clubhouse we have frequented this restaurant for many years with family, friends and work colleagues. The restaurant has a good ambiance although I think the food is average but if you want a great selection of fondues then this...is one of the best in Neuchâtel. In the summer the terrace offers great views on the lake and Alps in the distance.
