We go every week if not twice to village kitchen, we just love it. The place is a hidden gem, well not so hidden now as it’s not very often it’s quiet now! The food is amazing, honestly the best cafe around. The staff are so lovely and friendly. We always sit outside in all weathers, the staff will pop the heater on for us. My little girl loves visiting because of the toys outside.
Lovely hidden place to visit for a relaxing drink or something to eat throughout the day. Situated in a converted stables building, behind the Church in Edwinstowe where legends have it that Robin Hood and Maid Marian wed. Eady reach of Sherwood Forest, the cafe offers seating both inside and outside away from the busy thoroughfare. Wide choice of lunches, snacks and cakes available; plus many hot and cold drinks, all served on vintage style plates to suit the heritage of the location. Friendly staff. Worth a visit.
Had a lovely breakfast under a canopy in the courtyard. It was a real pleasure to enjoy good food in a very peaceful setting. Excellent.
Visited today for the first time. Nice setting with friendly staff. Menu is good. Some different offerings to the norm, small plates/tapas type dishes also. Inside seating is a bit limited from what a could see?
