The Hungry Monkey - Newport

Great breakfast! I had broken into hungry monkey this morning; I had rührei, speck, hashbrowns toast, my wife had a spicy monkey burrito. we share a monkey beacon zimt roll - eating was great, and the staff was friendly.

A must try.....and then return to!. I chose to go to The Hungry Monkey based on the reviews here and I am glad I did! The place has a fun and inviting at atmosphere. I got the stuffed monkey bread French toast and a side of homefries. The French toast came out as 3 thick slices of French toast stacked with sweetened cream cheese and sliced apples in between. It was perfect. The homefries were small in comparison, however it was still a good amount. Both were very good and very filling. On the chalkboard wall I believe they had their specials listed. One of them was a reuben omelette and another was a buffalo chicken grilled cheese! The Hungry Monkey is just one of those places you need to go to for breakfast and lunch!

Great breakfast!. Stopped in to Hungry Monkey this morning; I had scrambled eggs, bacon, hashbrowns toast, my wife had a 'spicy monkey ' burrito. We split a 'monkey bun ' cinnamon role- the food was awesome, and the staff was friendly.

Simple Cafe. Went in right before they closed so the place was a mess and there was only one waitress. She was very sweet and was as quick as she could be. Mom had the Mulligatawny (sp questionable) soup with a grilled corn muffin and it made my lust after her lunch! I had a chicken wrap with pesto. It was rather tasty as well. Think they specialize in breakfast though and it looks like there can be a crowd from the leftovers of the place.

Yummy! My 2 littlest split a monkey waffle. My oldest myself each had the chimpanzee! Amazing. Peanut butter, honey bananas between 2 (very large) slices of 'monkey ' french toast. Not at all over sweet. VERY filling!
