Never disappoints!! A staple in the community for over 50 years! I have been a regular customer most of that time. The remark about the owner in the earlier review is baseless! He works 6 days a week beginning at 2 AM to make sure everything is daily fresh baked quality!! He also donates $1000's of dollars worth of his baked goods and time to over 100 organizations a year!! He never asks for recognition!! He is carrying on his parents business the same way they did when they started it 52 years ago. His sisters and mom worked hard because they wanted to make sure the business thrived. Not because they were forced labor!! Every bit of hard work and great food is what Flanders Donut and Bake Shop is about.

Used to be the best bakery in south eastern CT. Went straight down hill after the son took over. I have never met him in person because he worked his twin sisters and mother to the bone! He showed up in back to collect his cash. That was it. What a crime. Another great small business down the drain.

The beat donuts in, CT and at a time when prices are through the roof, they are very reasonable! I’ve been coming here since I was a boy. The donuts haven’t changed and the line hasn’t gotten any shorter for these amazing donuts. The bagels are also a nice treat. Great bakery.

Gave a good review other day changing it They knew what they handed me poor integrity deeply corrupted low morals Ya this and the coffee was extremely intentionally and obviously watered down and weak (not the roast I know the difference) spent 13$ total got a burnt croissant bacon egg and cheese with like 2 half slices of dry bacon wrapped around and microwave egg ...don't come here I won't again ever discussting and for 13 bucks could have gone to shack and got loaded home fries on way to work highly I suggest somewhere else like McDonald's dunkin even cumbys and 711 is better I would pay 2 dollars for everything and I'd still feel robbed

Nice little bakery in town and they have such a variety of different types of doughnuts, pastries cookies. They have different kind of breakfast sandwiches, bagels, coffee. You name it, they have it. It's my favorite spot but it's cash only.
