We ordered the aloo paratha and rice plate with daal and salted leti at this restaurant and everything was incredibly delicious. My husband enjoyed the leti so much that we came back later in the day to get another one when we returned to Thunder Bay.
Recently in April we stopped in at the Nipigon Esso for breakfast before we went back to Winnipeg Manitoba. My husband had ordered his usual , and I ordered a western sandwich. The cook Cass sent out his creation! Wow it was filling and great..., I couldn't finish it all! I recommend you stop in and order a meal here!! Filling and tastes great!!!
Waited almost an hour to get our food, which we didn’t even end up getting. Our beverages were served in paper cups which quickly became soggy. One of the orders came out early so he finished his meal before the rest of us even got...ours. No mashed potatoes so had to substitute for fries which we all ordered, only to be told that 2/7 of our dishes will have gravy because there wasn’t enough. We were told this after waiting an hour for food. Only go here if you want to wait forever and be disappointed.
I can't stress enough how great this place is now that it's under new management. The new owners have brought a breath of fresh air to the restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious, homemade, and served in generous portions at affordable prices.
