The restaurant has an elegant atmosphere with a cozy fireplace and cute lights outside, making it the main draw of the place. Unfortunately, the hostess was rude and initially told us we couldn't sit outside, which turned out to be incorrect. However, the bartender assured us we could sit anywhere we wanted. Despite this initial setback, we enjoyed well-prepared drinks at decent prices. We eventually sat outside at a cabana booth and appreciated the nice atmosphere. The bartender was friendly and even escorted us to our table. On the other hand, the hostess was unhelpful and unaccommodating, insisting we wait for happy hour and sit inside despite plenty of available tables. This lack of hospitality almost led us to leave, but the bartender's friendly service made us stay. It's important for restaurants to recognize that patrons having drinks late at night may return for dinner another time, so they should not dismiss them for that reason. Overall, the bartender saved the day with his excellent service, but the hostess's attitude left much to be desired.
The outdoor patio had a fantastic atmosphere with strategically placed umbrellas ensuring no one had to sit in the sun. The food was delicious and high quality, and the service was efficient and friendly.
Hands down, this is my favorite brunch spot in LA. For price, quality of food, ambiance and service are all 5 star. My favorite thing for brunch is the hot chicken and biscuits, but you really can’t go wrong with any of the selections. My friend got the steak and eggs, and it was delish! They used to do bottomless mimosas and now they do pitchers, but it’s honestly still a good deal. Mostly because it’s more of a mimosa cocktail rather than just champagne and OJ. All the sweet treats are amazing too on the brunch menu. We got all 3! So so good!
I've been here so many times but mostly for brunch. Their brunches are my favorite, I love their deals on prosecco and the delicious lunch menu they have. But the dinner was just as amazing! Tomahawk was enough for 3 and tasted delicious. Also, not picture here was the basil aioli cauliflower which was too good to miss! Always great service too and friendly staff. Just don't get there too late for dinner or they'll rush you to order. Always love going to the Front Yard!
