Liu Rose has been a favorite restaurant for 2 generations of my family. My mother started visiting Liu Rose soon after it opened and always loved it. We always enjoy our meals there. Thank you Liu Rose.
Six people and no reservation needed. We had the banquet. Service was amazing and all the dood was delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed by all. Will definately be visiting again soon.
My wife and I have visited this place many times over the years. Yesterday we were in the area and decided to wait until 5.00pm till it opens. It was the mistake of the weekend. Since our last visit the quality & quantity have gone. The mini spring rolls are now a 1/4 of the size that the used to be with very little filling and $7.00 for a serving of 4. Dim Sims are now a 1/4 of the size they used to be with hardly any taste. Their large fried rice is now a joke it's now the size of their their small fried rice and $10.50. PSizzling Fillet Steak came out with only about 6 Small pieces which we had trouble finding in the onions. It was very bland and almost tasteless and priced at $25.00. The Curry Chicken again was all vegetables and only about 6 pieces no curry taste what so ever at. Staff very attentive and good service. After what we have had before could not go back again. The size of the dishes are a disgrace This. Place is over priced and overrated
Sizzling prawns and calamari Asian vegetable fantastic. Great service nice family atmosphere highly recommend
We have been eating here since the 80's and I have yet to find a comparable Chinese restaurant in the Concord / lower Ryde area. The Kung Po chicken was well liked by a friend, the Peking Duck has become a favorite, the sate prawns has more onions these days and when the fried rice is freshly made I just want more. The price has gone up considerably over the years so we don't eat there as often as we did in the past. When ever we have taken visitors that are impressed with the size of the menu, the restaurant lavish ceilings , lobster tanks and the variety of food. Good for tables of 8 as you can share a variety of dishes. There is an equivalent restuarant in Flemington Markets though I don't think it's open at night. Rhodes shopping centre has the large yum cha place which is a different dining experience.
