What a beautiful and peaceful spot. A little hidden gem. The bar staff were so welcoming, waiting staff couldn’t do enough for us and my husband’s steak was cooked just as he’d asked. We will be back.

Poor customer service Left for almost an hour after having order taken to be told food is just being plated (after chasing where our food was), for it to be a further 10 minutes before getting it. Hair in food and drinks Bread roll was freezer burnt The serving staff were friendly and some of the food we had was good, but certainly would not rush to go back

Table for 6 , sat down at 1.30, no starters ordered, just mains, 1.5 hr wait! Food lukewarm but all past waiting any longer . However one of our party was a vegetarian . Only 1 mains option cheese and onion pie. They chose a starter garlic mushrooms and side order of cauliflower cheese to have as mains. The garlic mushrooms were so overcooked they were inedible and had to be sent back leaving them with a small bowl of cauliflower cheese which was just ok. Very disappointing. Young waiting on staff were great, but waiting time and overall quality of food was below par. Won’t visit again .

Not a great experience most food was fried fish heavily battered. Children's meal very disappointing. Sausage hard and inedible. Will not return

Excellent food and top service will definitely be going back! Had a date night and it was cosy, friendly and felt really looked after
