A Turkish friend once said that a good Doner is way better than the best shawarma. Even though I didn't get a chance to explore those opting in Turkey, this place I visited yesterday has our hearts. To begin with, Helen, our cashier, was amazing and even gave us a decent portion size of both beef and chicken Doner for tasting when we asked which one is their best and we finally end up ordering both (our plan was to get only one, as it was just a midnight craving) The fresh cut meat and the fresh bread were a magic combination, and we loved the portion size. A must try, I would say.

It is the worst Doner place I have ever been to: On Sunday, May 12, I stopped with a friend to order a take out dinner for a picnic. My friend ordered 3 items with one of which needed more time to prepare. Instead of adjusting the time for mine and her food, they prepared my dinner quickly and let it sit behind the counter for almost 30 min. How much more stupid one could be? My dinner, the beef plate was pretty bad. The beef very dry, overcooked and already cold by the time we had our picnic at the park which is just 7 min drive away. The vegetables in the salad were not fresh at all. They also overwhelmed the salad with way too many pickled hot peppers. Not only was my meal not worth the money spend, it caused discomfort and stomach pain shortly after. I had digestion issues and pain even the next morning. I regret to ever having the idea to stop at this awful place. My friend 's chicken shawarma was below average with that same vegetables that were not fresh at all. Her garlic potatoes (we had to wait for so long) we 're burned and didn 't taste good at all. Avoid this restaurant and their irresponsible owners/employees.
