Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - North York

Came in a 1am and they made me fresh chicken nuggets and fries and it was so good. This was my first meal after fasting for Easter and it was so amazing!!!!!

They gave me 6 onion ring in my combo and said that every combo only comes with 6 rings... they are cheap and don't give out the amount of food they are supposed to.

The restaurant is conveniently located for grabbing food on the go in between classes.

Don't pay attention to the negative comments below. I love going to this restaurant for their poutine and sometimes the manager's special (3 piece chicken with a biscuit). It's the best poutine at York University - a generous portion with fries, gravy, a big handful of squeaky cheese curds, and chicken bits. The signature Cajun spicy fried chicken makes the poutine taste like it's melting in your mouth. In my opinion, nothing beats Popeye's poutine. Wendy's portion is small and tastes like McDonald's, Hero Burger's poutine is decent but a bit expensive, Smokes' gravy tastes like medicine, and Dirty Bird's poutine is overpriced at $15! For only $5, I always leave Popeye's with a smile on my face and a full belly. You can't go wrong with that option!

The two times I eat from here were not that good. I got the manager's special (chicken and biscuit) once, and I got shrimp combo with poutine. Their chicken taste way to dry and the skin is gross. The poutine was gross. Also, i would believe that all the staff were friends since they chat with each other and have people wait in line for their food.
