Tried their pizza and was impressed by the generous toppings including real pieces of meat.Keep it simple with just cheese or try authentic Armenian sojouk, either way you will not be disappointed.Support a small business by heading to Mamajoun!
I had a very pleasant experience at Mamajoun Pizza. The owner was very friendly and explained their menu to me and this helped me choose what to order. We also had a nice chat about restaurants in the area. The restaurant’s vibe was very cozy and friendly; they carry out lots of homemade and Armenian jam, sauce, etc. I started with Armenian Dumpling which was cooked perfectly and was served in a marinara dipping sauce. I ordered 1/2 Zaatar 1/2 Cheese Wrap, which included their famous zaatar spice and jalapeño, tomatoes, green olive, mint and dill pickles as my toppings. The ingredients were fresh and my weap tasted really good. I would definitely come back to try their pizzas, too!
Incredible Armenian food here, the lahmajun is so yummy and they even offer a lahmajun pizza which looks great. The Papajoun is a favorite, especially topped with cheese and soujouk. Delish! They also have a variety of imported Armenian foods along with frozen food to take home like soujouk, basterma, and packages of lahmajun.Highly recommend, we always make a point to stop here when in the area
Been meaning to visit here for a while and I'm so glad I did! Mihran is great to chat with as he happily talked about the menu and was very forthcoming with his personal recommendations (especially since the menu has a lot of variety/choice).I ordered the papajoun with soujouk and topped it with picked turnips, onion, tomato, banana peppers, mint, and garlic sauce. The sauce and meat were deeply flavourful on their own, but were complimented well by the toppings and the crisp yet soft flatbread dough. The mint in particular was an unexpectedly pleasant addition as it gave the wrap a hit of bright freshness that contrasted well with the other ingredients. If you're feeling it, washing it all down with an ayran (yogurt drink) really does wonders to round out the meal. You can't go wrong with coming here and it's clear to see that this restaurant builds a strong sense of community too with its clientele!
Food was amazing and it was first time trying Armenian pizza which is was great experience. I think he service awesome because he explained the menu well and was helpful!!I recommend going with cheese joun because he claimed it’s the most popular flavour. You can’t go wrong with cheese!!
