Taberna O Lidador - Óbidos

Taberna O Lidador is found in the medieval village of Obidos. Excellent food, excellent prices and service!

So unexpected to have such a wonderful lunch of octopus and fish at this little spot under beautiful purple flowers! A bit expensive for lunch but quite good.

Staff was lovely and food was really good. We had the “Francesinha with egg”, the “Bacalhau à Brás” and the “Bacalhau Lidador”. Everything was very good!!!

We were looking for a quick meal because it was late in the evening, so we found this place open, we asked for a stake some chips, the stake was awful tasted like rot meat. We complained about it and they simply said we were wrong. We’re re never ever coming back again to this place.

We stopped in for lunch and have 10 days in Portugal I can easily say hands down this is the worst of the worst. Nice waitstaff food isn’t worth the money. We have the suckling pig app and split the Francesinha sandwich
