The orono farmers' market is an institution in this area, and if they are new in the opposite or visit, it is a great place for fresh local products. the vegetables are cultivated by the people on the market. some (but not all) of the farmers sell certified bio-Veggies. look for mofga (maine organic farmers and growers) certified organic at their stand or check them with the breeder if they are looking for bio-Veggies. the availability of fruit and vegetables varies seasonal. the best time to visit for the most varied selection would be from juni or juli to midday november. besides selling fruit and vegetables, there is also a provider selling Vietnamese food (sometimes vegetarian or vegan options are available), and there is a supplier for coffee and tea. updated by the previous review on 2018-02-01
This is hands down the best farmers market in the area. There are plenty of fresh vegetables and seasonal goodies like jams, jellies, cucumbers, maple syrup, breads, honey, and non-vegan options like eggs. You can also find a truck selling coffee and meals, and many of the vendors are organic. In addition to fruits and veggies, they also have seedlings and plant starts available early in the season. It's a family-friendly atmosphere where people bring their dogs and children. Don't forget to bring your reusable bag!

This is the top farmer's market in the region, without a doubt. It offers a wide variety of vegetables and other seasonal products like jams, jellies, pickles, and maple syrup. Additionally, there are breads, honey, and other items available for non-vegans such as eggs. There is a food truck that sells coffee and meals, and many of the vendors use organic ingredients. In addition to fruits and veggies, they also sell seedlings and plant starts at the beginning of the season. It's a great place for families, as many people bring their dogs and kids. Don't forget to bring your reusable bag!
