The ingredients were all fresh. I had the Chimichangas and Azteca Salad (SO good) and my husband had the Frito Bandito. Even the side pasta salad was fantastic. Don't debate it's totally worth the stop.
Ventured into Palmetto and stumbled upon the charming Waypoint Bar and Grill! We enjoyed our whole meal, from the mouthwatering jalapeno poppers to the flavorful shrimp quesadilla and the juicy grilled chicken sandwich with Nashville hot sauce. The inside is bright and airy, with a bar and welcoming atmosphere. There is also covered, outdoor seating. Service was prompt and friendly. We will be back!
Small joint with a local vibe and a great beer and food menu. The beer selection was far more adventurous than most and the food menu had thoughtfully-added nuances that were truly appreciated. We had the house-made chips and salsa (no heat but very fresh , the Azteca salad (that had the first poppy seed dressing I actually loved! , and the smoked fish spread (equipped with jalapeño slices and chipotle aioli which absolutely stole the show. Sprinkle in an outdoor stage for live music, an adorably-lit lawn, and great atmospheric music and you are in it to win it.In summary, it's a small restaurant off a state highway that could easily phone it in but they don't...and it definitely shows.
The first time my man was there, he loved the place absolutely. the outside seats, the landscape design, the parking space, the interior and the menu are super! well done! will definitely come back!
What a gem. Food was great, service good. And just a cool place to hang out.
